i listened to their single, i guess its pretty good but ive heard better from them.
I actually use to really love green day but then grew out of them I am excited that they are going to be coming out with new music though. Most bands tend to change over time but I hope they stick to who they are and create the same great music as they have before otherwise it wont be worth me even listening to.

The CDs are basically three parts of one album - they are all different. And Billie Joe has described it as the leading into the party, the madness of the party, and then the hangover after the party.
"Oh Love" is not the best work they've ever done, nor is it my favorite, but it is still dazzling and awesome, and I think the main reason that I don't love it more is that it is not a feeling or situation I can relate with.
Brianne, well, I should hope that they're always changing, but they still always have the same spirit and vibrancy because, as far as I can tell, they love their work.

Yes! That is why I have a limit of no more than 5 listens of the new song per day, and try to keep it below that even... I've listened 10 times since I purchased it on iTunes on Monday. I don't want to kill it dead before I hear the rest of the album! I'm excited to see the video interpretation...
I've only listened to it once so far. It's a really cute song. :3 I can't wait for the video either.

Yes. I love analyzing it all but i think perhaps I do a little too much of it, but in the wrong way, I get overly analytical... But anyway, it's really interesting trying to think about what the motivations are behind certain lyrics.
