I actually don't think I have ever read anything by either of them! Definitely heard of them though.

You've probably heard of them. Neil Gaiman wrote one of the best HQ ever, which is called Sandman. And Terry wrote the Discworld series. ^_^

Click to level me up!
I am almost done with Harry Potter #6. And if I time it just right and get lucky, I might be able to have #7 there waiting for me when I return #6.

I just added the Guardians of Ga'Hoole series to my library hold list because the movie preview looks pretty good, and someone recommended reading the first three books before watching the movie.

I just finished Harry Potter #6. I cried even though I knew what was coming.

I told the library website that I am ready for them to start holding Harry Potter #7 for me now. I'm hoping #7 is there tomorrow or Saturday so I can pick it up then. If it's not then I might have to wait a whole week to get it because Fridays and Saturdays are usually the only days that I can go to the library.

#7 was in today, so I got to go pick it up! smile

I'm almost a quarter of the way through #7 now. I'm trying to get through this one kind of quick because, since it's the newest, someone might have a hold on it and I might not be able to renew it!

My local library has a field nearby. They've sectioned it off into garden plots, and they are going to let people check out plots like they would check out books. You get the plot for the season and get to plant whatever you want. I am tempted to get a plot, but my partner doesn't like to drive, so I don't know how often he would take me there. And I would be afraid that people would take my vegetables! It's a very cool idea though.

Thanks for the bump! smile

I just watched Diary of a Wimpy Kid. It was really cute. So I'm adding those books to my library list!

I'm also almost 3/4 of the way through with Harry Potter #7!

Almost done with #7. It's due Saturday. I am sure I will have it done by then, but I renewed it just in case, so that I don't have to rush to the library, and so that hopefully my next book will be waiting for me at the library when I take this one back. The next book on my list is The Lightning Thief, but I think there was a long wait for that one. So it might not be there for me. But we'll see. And if it's not, then I will be reading a book that I bought from the library called Taggerung. It's about a thieving, murdering ferret!

I am about halfway through Taggerung. It's pretty good so far, although it's a bit difficult for me to read sometimes because a lot of the characters have really thick accents. oops

The Lightning Thief is now waiting for me at the library, so hopefully I will be able to pick that up on Friday. I have to remember to bring Harry Potter #7 back too. I've been done with it for so long that I am afraid I will forget that I even have it!

it's a long time that i went to the library...

I went to the library today. I returned Harry Potter and picked up The Lightning Thief. It looks like it'll be a pretty quick read.

They have books for sale there too. I was tempted by a big book of American folklore and legends, but it was $2, I only had a dollar on me, and I have a lot of books like that already. oops
