Yeah I don't do YA, much especially if its romance.
Yuk! it is silly all that sappy love stuff.

I only have like 25 more pages to go in The Borrowers #5, so I should finish that tonight or tomorrow.

I can't even sit down and read for the past few days.
The book is good and all of a sudden I'm just meh....

I hate events, I get so unmotivated during them.
I hardly have been posting at all, but like last night I was
talking to four friends all on different windows.
A bit overwhelming. hahaha

Have you finished getting the items yet?
That is all I want the items, I guess I should hurry
although I'm sure we have a full two weeks.

All I have so far is 8 autographs and 3 candles. oops

I finished The Borrowers #5 last night. It was a little open ended for my taste.

I am looking at all the books that I read/am reading this year. A lot of them are parts of series. I count 11 to be exact. Of those 11, I am only finished with 2 of the series. So I have 9 series still going, and I took out book 1 of a new series last time I went to the library, so I am about to be up at 10 series going at once. oops I really need to stop taking books out unless they are a part of those 10 series.

I don't really like reading series.
That seems to be the big thing with YA books.
I prefer stand alone books.

Now it seems that more and more adult books are
part of series. That annoys me.

Theres a new book we got at the library (cause I asked them to)
called Age of Miracles. It seems really really good.

I don't mind series. I just hate that I start a lot of them without realizing that they are series or without realizing how long the series is! I also have a bad memory, so sometimes by the time I get to the next book I don't remember the last one very well....

I was doing really bad with the event. But then I remembered lurking! So now I am catching up.

I usually stay away from series or sequels.
I rarely read a book if I know there is a sequel coming
or its part of a series (notable exception The Chronicles of Narnia)

The last time I got "stuck" was reading The Sparrow, half way through
I realized there was a sequel Children of God. But both were so good
it was worth reading almost 1000 pages with the same characters.

When I finish my set, I'll send you all my currency so you
can finish yours if you need.
I really don't need more than one set, I know people do that
but seriously what for, to sell I guess.

I have worked to get multiples of event items in the past thinking they would go up in value with time. But so far none of my extras have gone up because everyone else had the same idea, so everyone else has the same crap that I have! Some of the stuff is over a year old and still worthless! So yeah, I am not going to bust my butt to get multiples anymore! lol

That's exactly how I feel about it.
This stuff is not going up in price.
Maybe the first stuff is/was. I have
the set from the first birthday that my friend
who has been a member since Dec 09 got for me.
I should try and sell it, its hideous.

Yeah, I think event items from the first year sell pretty good. After that, not so much it seems. Oh well. I made a mule account just to put all my crap on.

Man, the weather men drive me crazy. This morning when I checked the weather they said it would be 75 and feel like 75 pretty much all day. So I didn't turn the air on. But I am sweating like crazy. So I just checked the weather again. Now it says it's going to be 80 and feel like 85 all day.... Psh, I could do their job.
