I'm Xiporah. I'm pretty nice, but I tend to swear a lot in person though.

I am a beer drinker. I love tasting and mostly drink only craft/microbrew beers, though I do love Sam Adams and Yuengling.

I live outside of Washington DC in Maryland. I've lived here all my life and will probably stay in the area.

My goal in life is to be happy as often as possible and to travel. I want to spend all of my spare cash on traveling and fine dining. That's how I want to live my life. I don't need luxury items. I don't need a fancy car (I don't even drive) or the biggest house or the newest iPhone or the most expensive clothes, but give me a cocktail and sit me on a foreign shore, and you'll know I'm in my happy place. Places I'd love to visit are Vietnam, India, Singapore Pripyat, Norway and many others.

I have two cats, a tarantula and giant hissers for pets. I am absolutely in love with my pets. They are my joy.

I listen to various genres of metal. The heavier the better. I also love classic rock, and grew up with it. Deep Purple, The Beatles and Led Zeppelin are my absolute favorites. I even have a Zeppelin tattoo that was kind of an impulse decision, but it's part of me and I don't regret it.

I sit around and listen to Led Zeppelin a lot more than I should. A LOT MORE.

I am an atheist, however I have no interest in talking about religion with you. Hell, I don't even want to talk about atheism with you. I don't hate and welcome religious friends and non religious alike, but it's really not all that important to me. Debates and conversion attempts are not welcome, but your friendship always is.

I am fascinated by body modification, but to date, I only have two tattoos and 10 piercings in each ear. I am interested in scarification, but the thought of all that PAIN makes me grimace. If I did get into it though, I'd probably get a spiderweb pattern on my back around my tattoo, which is of a stylized black widow, one of my favorite animals since I was about 13.

I drink coffee black. nom nom!

I have a wonderful boyfriend drove all the way across the country to move in with me. We've been together for 4 years now, which is insane for me, because I guess I never considered myself worth that. He makes me really happy, and we plan to spend our lives together, even though we have no marriage plans. He's not ready and I'm unsure if I want to get married or just live together, so our current situation suits us both.

We're both childfree which means we neither have or ever want children. No this does not mean I hate children or I'm cold or unemotional or whatever silly notion you have in your mind about it. I'm actually quite friendly and warm if you give me a chance.
