And yes, there are other ways to obtain gold ^^ You can play game - there might not much now but they do plan on doing a nice update on them sometime this year n_n There is a marble that appears near your avatar every day, you can get items or gold from them - you can also collect two per day if you had an extra account c: You can also sell arts/graphics if you're into that type of thing (you can go here for pricing help), or you can always donate.
There is also squads you can join, you can earn extra gold while posting and earn some while your other squad members post n_n You can find one over here.
