I did not receive my hearts.
It sometimes happens due to some PayPal lag. If you have not yet received your hearts for your donation, please send a PM to Emy, mentioning the first and last name of your PayPal account as well as the amount you donated, and the issue will be dealt with.
I forgot my username.
If you forgot your username do not panic. Simply send an e-mail to support@ernya.com and don't forget to mention the e-mail you used when you created your account, so we can assist you with your issue.
I forgot my password.
If you forgot your password, simply enter your username in the field and click "I forgot my password". A new password will be sent to your e-mail address.
I cannot log in, it takes me back to the home page.
It sometimes happens, and is a well known cache issue. Clear your cache and cookies and restart your browser.
How can I change my username.
Click to the settings link located near log out under your gold. From there click profile and name change. There is no limit to how many times you may change your username, however each name change will cost 500 gold.
How can I change my password.
Click to the settings link located near log out under your gold. From there click board preferences.
Why is one of my tabs lighten up.
Three of your tabs can light up into a different color depending on the layout theme you have selected.
- The home tab lights up when there is a new announcement. To see the newest announcement go to the home page, and click on the first thread under what's new.
- The trade tab lights up when a trade is awaiting for you. Simply click on the trade tab and complete your pending trades.
- The inbox tab lights up when you received a private message. Click on the inbox tab to see your unread messages. You can easily differentiate the unread messages as the border turns orange.

What are hearts and how do I get them.
Hearts are Ernya's currency to purchase items in the Donation Shop! You can get hearts by donating to the site. For each dollar you will receive 10 hearts. Each Donation item is worth 20 hearts, The Lucky Charm coin is worth 10 hearts and the Spells are 20 hearts each.
The value of these Monthly Items is guaranteed to rise over time. Hearts may also be traded and sold amongst users.
How do I get gold.
You can get gold by posting on the forums, playing games, opening your Fortune Marble every day, gambling in the Casino subforum, or selling items or hearts amongst other users in the Exchange forum. You can also sell your art in the Art shop forum.

How can I donate.
There are several ways to donate, to donate click here.
You can donate through Paypal, or use an Ultimate Game Card, chances are there is a store right next to you that sells them, you can find a store locator on our donate page, just type in your zip code and click the blue Search button. Gift Cards are another great option, you can buy prepaid gift cards almost anywhere. You can also donate through BilltoMobile with your phone, or snail mail.
If you would like to donate by snail mail, we accept checks or cash by mail, no coins.

What does a spell do.
A new Spell color comes out every month. A Spell has the ability to change one of your previous special item into a different color than its 3 default colors. All Donation Items, Coin Items, and some Limited Items have the ability to change colors using the Monthly Spell.
To use a spell, go to your inventory, then click on the desired item. Under the 3 default colors will appear available spells. Click the spell color box you'd like to use and it will change your item color accordingly. The item and spell will be added to your equip list. To remove the spell, either click on the item or spell in your equip list, they will unequip both at the same time.
The spell is not a consumable item and can be reused as many times as you wish. However, you can only use one spell per item at a time. If you would like to apply the spell on several items at once, you will need several spells.
What does a coin do.
Coins are openable, contain 8 different items, and you are guaranteed to get an item for each coin.
Make sure to check the announcement forum to see a preview of the items from the current coin.
Does a DI come with all 3 colors.
Yes. Donation Items and Coin Items always come with 3 colors by default. You can then apply spells to them, which give even more color possibilities within the item.
Can I equip multiple poses of a single DI at a time.
No. You can only equip one pose at a time. If you wish to equip several poses of the same DI on a single avatar, you will need several items.
When do Donation Items, Spells, Charm Coins & other items come out.
1st - Donation Items, monthly
5th - Spells, monthly
10th - Leveling Item, monthly
15th - Coins, every two months
20th - Name Tags, monthly

How do I try an item in the shops.
Simply click on the desired item. It will lead you to a window where you can preview the item, and choose the color you would like for your item. Choose your desired color and simply click buy now, if you would like to buy the item, or add to the cart if you wish to preview or buy several items at once.
Does the item I buy come in every color in my inventory.
No it does not, you cannot change the color of your item once you bought it. The color you purchase will be the color of your item in your inventory.
You only have several color options for Donation Items, Coin items or Limited Items.

What is this marble next to my avatar.
A marble will show up next to your avatar every day. You can get gold or special items out of it. If you decide to open it simply click on it. Please remember, you can only obtain 2 marbles per IP address a day. The marbles rotate every 6 months, and is replaced by a new colored marble with new items.
I cannot find this item in the shops, how can I get it.
Some of the items in the dream avatar are old Donation Items, Coin items, Limited items and Event Items, and are not available in the shops anymore. You can obtain them from other users in the Exchange Forum.
Where do I buy items from other users.
Ernya do not have a marketplace just yet, so in order to buy items from other users, you need to use the Exchange and Buying Hut forums.

My avatar is blank, what to do.
When you first start up, you need to create your avatar. In order to do so, click your inventory tab. From there click on the body settings link at the top left corner of your inventory. Select a skin color, hairstyle, lips and eyes, and go back to your inventory to save your avatar.

You can get a skin, hairstyle and other body settings here.
How do I save an avatar to my closet.
Go to your inventory and click save outfit.
How do I remove an avatar from my closet.
Go to your inventory, click on avatar closet tab, and simply hover over the outfit you would like to delete, check the box at the bottom right corner of the said avatar, and click delete selected.
How do I save a picture of my avatar.
To save a picture of your avatar, right click on your avatar, save image as, browse which folder you would like to save your avatar into on your computer and click save. You can then upload your avatar to any hosting site such as tinypic, photobucket or imageshack.
Where can I find a dream avatar creator.
To create a dream avatar go to your inventory and click the dream avatar link at the top left corner of your inventory.
How do I save dream avatars to my closet.
Go to the dream avatar creator, click save avatar and your avatar will appear in your dream closet.
Why is the color of my item glitched.
The most common color glitch you will encounter is due to the Magical blush. It is called magical blush for a reason and allow the users to glitch certain colors depending on the combination of items they have set up on their avatar.

What is the max gold granted per post.
You can earn up to 30 gold per post. The more text you type the more gold you will earn. Make sure you respect the Rules and do not abuse special characters or emotes.
Can I double post.
Yes you can double post, as in post twice in a row. However triple posting is not allowed on Ernya and is considered as spam, so make sure you avoid doing so.
Can I bump a thread.
"Bump" words into threads are not allowed and viewed as spam. If you wish to bump your thread, a bump button is available for you every hour at the bottom left corner of your thread.
Can I delete a post.
No you cannot delete a post. If you wish to delete one of your post you will need to contact a moderator, or simply report your own post and write up in the description why you would like it to be deleted.
Can I use a post style.
Post styles along with blobs are allowed. If there is more than one special character within your post style, make sure you save them as pictures, as each character counts towards your gold per post, and can be seen as gold exploit.
Why do I have to type in a confirmation code for every post.
A captcha system has been installed to fight spam bots. It will go away after your 5 first posts.
How do I bookmark a thread.
In order to bookmark a thread, go to the said thread and click on the golden star in the top right corner.
You can then see your bookmarked threads in your handybar, by clicking on the star, or by going to your settings, overview, bookmarks.

How do I go to my own profile.
To go to your own profile, simply click on your avatar at the top right corner of your screen.
How can I edit my profile.
To edit your profile, click to the settings link located near log out under your gold. From there click profile, and you will be able to edit your about me section or any other information.
How can I customize my profile.
To customize your profile, click to the settings link located near log out under your gold. From there click profile and customize CSS.

How do I add an item to my wishlist.
Go to your own profile by clicking on your avatar at the top right corner of your screen.
At the bottom of your profile will be a wishlist input. Start typing in the name of the item you would like to add, and a drop down will appear. Select the item and click "add to wishlist" button.
To remove an item from your wishlist, click the 'x' on the top right corner of the said item.
What is the sticker collection box.
The Sticker Collection box is where all of the stickers you own will appear. In order to check all of the stickers available, click on the Sticker Hall link, next to your log out under your gold.
How do I add someone to my buddy list.
There are different ways to add someone to your buddy list. Fastest way is to hover over someones avatar, click Action Menu and Friend Request. You can also go to their profile and click on the buddy list button next to their avatar.
Or you can click on your settings link, from there click buddy list, add friends and simply type in their username.
How do I remove someone from my buddy list.
You can remove someone from your buddy list the same way you added them, by either going to their profile, or through your buddy list settings.
Can I rearrange my buddy list order.
Yes you can rearrange your buddies in the order you wish, by going to your settings, from there click buddy list, and in your manage friends tab you can drag each buddy window to where you like until you get the desired order.

How do I disable the handy-bar.
To disable your handy bar, click on the settings link located under your gold, from there click board preferences, global settings, enable tool handybar by default.
How can I change the banner.
You have the choice between different banners. You can either choose the banners to rotate depending on the time of the day, or settle down on a single theme. To choose or change your banner, click on the settings link located under your gold, from there click board preferences, global settings, Choose a Theme, click on the drop down, select your theme and hit submit.
Where do I see my bookmarks.
You can then see your bookmarked threads through your handybar, by clicking on the star, or by going to your settings, overview, bookmarks.
Where do I change my online status.
To change your online status click on the settings link located under your gold, from there click board preferences, posting settings, hide my online status.
How can I edit my signature.
To edit your signature click on the settings link located under your gold, from there click board preferences, posting settings, signature.
Make sure you do not include any "<" or ">" symbols in your signature as it will cut if off.
Is there a size limit for signatures.
Yes there is. Keep all images in your signature under 500x500 pixels, and under 100,000 bytes.
How can I disable AddThis.
To disable AddThis, click on the settings link located under your gold, from there click board preferences, global settings, enable AddThis by default.

What's a sticker.
A sticker is a reward for an achievement. There are many stickers out there for you to collect, set a goal and be rewarded for your hard work. Each sticker is worth points, which you may use to buy special items from Oliver at the sticker shop.
Where can I see the stickers available.
To see the stickers available click on the Sticker Hall link, located under your gold.
How do I obtain a sticker.
To obtain a sticker go to the Sticker Hall and click on the desired sticker to redeem it. Make sure you have met the requirements before you try to redeem your sticker.
Why can't I redeem my sticker.
If you cannot redeem your sticker, it means that either you do not meet the requirements just yet, or your sticker has to be manually put into your account.
Weekly Featured, Fashion Victim, Item Designer, Item Sketcher, Follower and Double Rainbow are manually added into the accounts. So if you have met the requirements but cannot redeem any of the stickers I mentioned above, just be patient, it will be added to your profile shortly.
For the News Nerd, it starts counting after May 15th 2011, so any posts you made in an announcement before this date will not count towards your sticker.
I entered the monthly contest and cannot redeem my Fashion Victim or Item Designer stickers.
The Fashion Victim and Item Designer stickers are only available for people who placed in these contests. You cannot redeem these stickers by just entering the contests, however you can obtain the Double Rainbow sticker by entering both of the monthly contests within the same month.
How do I know when a sticker item expire.
To know when a sticker item expire, go to the Sticker shop and hover over the item. It will give you a tool tip with the expiration date for the said item.
